NEW!

If I had to describe this week with one word I would chose the adjective new. I experienced so many new things during the first week in the University of Navarra. First of all, the experience of living in a new country. I had visited Spain twice, but in a touristic way. Now that I am going to live here I see everything different. There are things that I liked about the country before and now, knowing that I will have to face it for the next four years, it bothers me. That is why I tried to see this experience as a long 4-years vacation. Also, I made a lot of new friends. It is nice to meet other international students and know how they are doing because it makes me feel that I am not alone. I also met a lot of Spanish girls (it is amazing how many girls there are in the class compared to boys; it is totally disproportional!), who were very friendly and, even though they already had their group of friends from high school, they always included me. I was invited to juevitxos by one of the Spanish girls named Ainhoa. I was so excited to go out for the first time, but I couldn't because my family was leaving the next morning and I had to go out with them. I was looking forward for this day so I could be more independent and meet more people, but when I dropped them in the airport I felt very sad. Not even a minute had passed and I already missed them.
